From a dining table that anchors a room to the lighting, textiles and ceramics that bring it together, we help you discover pieces with character, considered materials and a story behind their making.

Based in Munich and rooted in a shared love of South African design, we bring together independent makers and established design studios with distinct perspectives. For interior designers sourcing for private homes, restaurants, hotels or other commercial spaces, OOSA offers a starting point for finding something individual—and a personal conversation about what your project needs.

Meet the makers

Our collection brings together different approaches to material, form and craft. Discover the clean lines and beautifully worked timber of James Mudge, the contemporary craftsmanship and distinctive spindle seating of Houtlander, and the fluid bentwood chairs of Woodbender.

Alongside furniture, we explore the layers that give an interior its atmosphere: woven textiles by Mungo, expressive ceramics by Gemma Orkin, and a growing selection of lighting, tableware and decorative objects. Together, these makers offer scope for creating spaces with warmth, texture and a strong sense of identity.
